Burmese Orphanage

Joney Thawng Hup graciously welcomed us into his home (orphanage) while traveling through Myanmar.  We delivered school supplies donated by PMHS students along with Jolly Rancher candy (a favorite of my Chin students).  Photos show the young people singing for us, sharing their educational goals, and reading letters that were written by my wonderful English students. This was such a heartwarming experience!  My hope is that our PMHS family will be able to "adopt" these amazing kids.  They are always in need of school supplies, clothing, vitamins, and letters of encouragement.
