Delhi City

Arrived at our hotel, The Connaught, in New Delhi about 11:00 pm. We were exhausted and smelly and wanted nothing more than to take showers and climb into our beds. Much to our dismay our hotel room was smellier than we were. The carpeting was totally nasty and the bathroom was funky! We placed an immediate call to our travel agent who expeditiously made arrangements for a change in accommodations for us. We had been staying in such beautiful hotels so this was disappointing, but the situation was soon rectified (thank goodness).I can deal with about any adverse conditions as long as I have a clean bed and bathroom waiting for me each evening. I know - I am a big sissy!
